Veterinary Technician

Comprehensive veterinary care services including preventive, diagnostic, surgical, and dental services, as well as pain management, on-site dog trainer, pet chiropractic, acupuncture, and boarding. Our facility includes Digital X-Ray, Digital Dental X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Laser Therapy.

As an experienced veterinary technician, you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. Your talent and skill as a veterinary technician are certainly essential to your success in this role. We’ll love your expertise, passion, eagerness to grow and learn, and ability to work well with a team. Some of the key skills that we are looking for with this particular opportunity include:

  • Vaccine and preventative care knowledge

  • Medication dispensing and administering

  • Responding to the pressure of a fast-paced environment with dignity and professionalism

  • Perform laboratory sample preparation for in-house machine analyses on urine and blood

  • Client education and communication skills that convey our recommendations to clients in an easily understandable and professional manner

  • Surgical experience (prep, monitoring, recovery, etc)

  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

This is a full-time position for an experienced (at least 2 years) or licensed veterinary technician. Most schedules include a 4-day work week from 8am-6pm on Monday-Friday. We currently are closed on the weekends but might change in near future to include an occasional Saturday 8am-12pm shift. We are closed on all major Holidays (Holiday pay is included).  We take employee wellbeing seriously and recognize the importance of having a healthy work-life balance.
